The German Property Federation (ZIA) is one of the industry's key lobby groups. It sees itself as the voice of the real estate industry and leverages its membership base, including 24 associations, to lobby on behalf some 37,000 companies within the sector.
The Federation's stated goal is to apply a comprehensive, uniform approach in representing the interests of the highly diverse real estate industry in a manner befitting the industry's importance to the German economy.
EPRA activities reflect its mission to promote, develop and represent the European public real estate sector. The rapid emergence and growth of listed property and REIT regimes around the world, and the more general impact of globalization, present unique challenges for EPRA. They underline the need for an effective, coherent and well resourced voice for the European listed real estate industry.
Gerald Klinck, member of the Management Board of TLG IMMOBILIEN, is also a member of the Advisory Board of the European Public Real Estate Association (EPRA).
The Institute for Corporate Governance is a voluntary self-regulating organisation. Its purpose is to improve the transparency and quality of corporate development and supervision, and to implement sensitivity and an awareness of the problems involved in the sector. The discussion of these issues is designed to strengthen the professionalism of the sector and develop a corresponding effect in relation to third parties.
